Dudley borough job centres and Dudley College hosted the ‘Connect to Your Community’ event earlier this month.

Colleagues from the Employment Retention Service and our new volunteering service attended the event, which was aimed at providing an opportunity to network, as well as to share volunteering opportunities in and around Dudley. The teams spent the day at Dudley College, along with Dudley Adult Community Learning, DCFA Impact Training and many more.

Retention Worker, Teresa, fed back: “It was a fantastic opportunity to link in with a range of organisations to promote the Employment Retention Service, working collaboratively to enable individuals to gain support. We also supported individuals with referrals to both the IPS and Thrive services.”
