As the festive season approaches, Wolverhampton IPS team continue to work with local organisation, the Good Shepherd, supporting clients to find and retain employment, working collaboratively to help individuals and volunteering their time in the Good Shepherd kitchens.
The team also had cause for celebration, after supporting client Donna to successfully gain employment as a Trainee Key Worker at the Good Shepherd.
IPS Team lead, Laura, and Key Worker, Donna attended Black Country Radio last month to talk about the experience and promote the work the Good Shepherd and IPS do.
Donna spoke about how she accessed IPS services and how Vocational Specialist, Louise, supported her through her journey and continues to do so. Laura shared about the collaborative working partnership developed between IPS and the Good Shepherd over the past years. The IPS team take care to promote local services, ensuring organisations and clinicians are aware of the work that goes on to support our community. In addition, the Good Shepherd have been pivotal both in referring individuals for employment support, and signposting training and development opportunities.

Over the past years, Wolverhampton IPS and the Good Shepherd have worked together on gathering donations, providing training, employment support and opportunities and a close relationship which supports staff and clients.
