Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT) is proud to announce a significant milestone for its WorkWell service, with the internal delivery team achieving 106% of its delivery target in its first year.
Launched to support individuals in improving their health and wellbeing while staying in or returning to work, WorkWell has already made a meaningful impact across local communities. The service provides tailored, person-centred support, working closely with individuals and partner organisations to address barriers to employment and promote long-term wellbeing. In its first year, the programme has supported more people than anticipated, reflecting both strong demand and the quality of care being delivered.
This success is underpinned by strong partnership working, a proactive and flexible approach to meeting service user needs, and the dedication and professionalism of staff across BCHFT and partner organisations. Beyond exceeding targets, the achievement represents real lives supported, improved wellbeing, and positive outcomes for the communities served.
Nadia Haywood, WorkWell Operational Manager, said: “This early success reflects the dedication and collaborative approach of BCHFT teams and partners, who have worked together to ensure the service meets the needs of the communities it serves. Exceeding our first-year target highlights both the demand for the service and the high quality of support being delivered.”
Building on this achievement, BCHFT is committed to expanding the reach and impact of WorkWell in its second year, continuing to support more people to lead healthier lives and remain in or return to work.
